Centrale De Schneider is a small power station situation within a small town in France.
It was first commissioned in 1958 as a 250mw plant, generated by 2 x 125mw turbines fired by heavy fuel oil. These turbines were later replaced in 1970 by a coal-fired Rateau- Schneider turbine, generating 240mw. They were decommissioned in 1992.
The power plant ceased operating in 2013.
