While on a road trip to Bulgaria to visit Buzludzha we stopped off at this abandoned Soviet theatre.
Unfortunately I’ve not been unable to find much information about the place, so I asked the owner of the hotel we were staying at, who was able to tell me it opened around 1860, and was operational until the fall of the Soviet Union in the 1990’s.
The local council started to demolish the building but seem to of stopped and have left it open to the elements.
